Dr.
John M. Cameron, PhD

Dr. John M. Cameron,
PhD, has a long and distinguished career in
nuclear physics, medical technology, applications
of accelerators and R&D administration.
Dr. Cameron recently retired from Indiana University
where he was Professor of Physics and Director
of the Indiana University Cyclotron Facility
from 1987 to 2004. While at Indiana University,
he played a pivotal role in the conception
of the Midwest Proton Radiotherapy Institute
leading it from initial funding through construction.
Prior to his position at Indiana University,
Dr. Cameron was Professor of Physics and Director
of the Nuclear Research Center at the University
of Alberta and served as technical Director
for the Medical Accelerator Research Institute
of Alberta, a heavy ion radiotherapy project.
Dr. Cameron has directed major multidisciplinary
research and development institutes for the
past 20 years and has received over $200 million
in grants and contracts. He has served on numerous
advisory and review boards for U.S. and foreign
research agencies. Dr. Cameron received his
undergrad degree from Queens University, Northern
Ireland with first class honors and his PhD
degree from UCLA. Dr. Cameron was elected to
a fellowship in the American Physical Society
in 1988.1988.

Ford

Hadley
Ford is a finance veteran with more than 16
years of experience raising and deploying capital
for a variety of service and technology businesses.
Mr. Ford was most recently a Managing Director
and Head of the East Coast Technology Group
at Banc of America Securities with responsibility
for some of the firm's most important technology
relationships. Prior to joining Banc of America,
Mr. Ford was the CFO of Clearway Technologies
where he was responsible for financing, budgeting,
accounting, controls and strategic discussions.
Mr. Ford was a Vice President in the Communications,
Media and Entertainment Group at Goldman Sachs
before Clearway and served on the boards of
Goldman portfolio companies I-NET and Concentric
Networks. Mr. Ford graduated summa cum laude
with a B.S.B.A. from Boston University and
received his MBA from the Stanford University
Graduate School of Business, where he was an
Arjay Miller Scholar. |
Aubrey
K. McClendon
Director |
Aubrey
K. McClendon has served as Chairman of the
Board, Chief Executive Officer and a director
of Chesapeake Energy since co-founding the
Company in 1989. From 1982 to 1989, Mr. McClendon
was an independent producer of oil and gas
in affiliation with Tom L. Ward. Mr. McClendon
graduated from Duke University in 1981. |

Shannon
Self is co-founder of Commercial Law Group,
P.C., a professional corporation, in Oklahoma
City. Mr. Self is a member of the Law Board
of Northwestern University School of Law and
a director for Critical Technologies, Inc.,
a computer software company in Edmond, Oklahoma.
He is also a co-founder and manager of Infinity
Resources, L.L.C., an exploration and production
company with interests in Texas, Oklahoma,
Kansas, Colorado and New Mexico. From February
1991 to June 2005, Mr. Self served as a Director
for Chesapeake Energy Corporation. Mr. Self
is a Certified Public Accountant. He graduated
from the University of Oklahoma in 1979 and
from Northwestern University Law School in
1984. |

Tommy
G. Thompson is the former Health and Human
Services Secretary and four-term Governor of
Wisconsin, Chairman of the Deloitte Center
for Health Solutions and a partner at the law
firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.
At Deloitte and Akin Gump, Secretary Thompson
is building on his efforts as HHS Secretary
and Governor to develop innovative solutions
to the health care challenges facing American
families, businesses, communities, states and
the nation as a whole. These efforts focus
on improving the use of information technology
in: hospitals, clinics and doctors offices;
promoting healthier lifestyles; strengthening
and modernizing Medicare and Medicaid; and
expanding the use of medical diplomacy around
the world. Secretary Thompson served as HHS
Secretary from 2001 to 2005 and is one of the
nation's leading advocates for the health and
welfare of all Americans. Secretary Thompson
has dedicated his professional life to public
service and served as Governor of Wisconsin
from 1987 to 2001. Secretary Thompson made
state history when he was re-elected to office
for a third term in 1994 and a fourth term
in 1998. Secretary Thompson began his career
in public service in 1966 as a representative
in Wisconsin's state Assembly. Secretary Thompson
has received numerous awards for his public
service, including the Anti-Defamation League's
Distinguished Public Service Award. In 1997,
the Secretary received Governing Magazine's
Public Official of the Year Award, and the
Horatio Alger Award in 1998. The Secretary
has also served as chairman of the National
Governors' Association, the Education Commission
of the States and the Midwestern Governors'
Conference. Secretary Thompson also served
in the Wisconsin National Guard and the Army
Reserve. |
